Not nessesarily. You have to have a great personality, and be fun to be around.
Being funny or cute is always a plus.
But be yourself, and you will become popular with the right people.

Be yourself and have an outgoing personality and people will enjoy being around you. Just because you hang out with a popular crowd, doesn't mean that it will make you popular. It'll look like you're a stuck up and kissing everybody's a**. People will recognize you by your personality and your way of looking at life. Remember to NOT change yourself for nobody.

It doesnt make you popular, you are just part of the in crowd because you have been seen hanging around popular people.Being popular takes alot of energy. Im not saying its a bad thing, but wouldnt you rather be likes just for who you are? Now, if you just happened to be popular because you were an athlete or for some talent that you have, thats great. But not just because you are pretty or you have a nice car or something stupid like that. You have popular friends and thats cool and everything, but you shouldnt want to be like anyone else.

first off there is no such thing of being popular. you teens really need to grow up and act mature. popular is just a word so is peer pressure; there is no such thing . i would say be yourself. dont hang out with a certain kind of group just to see where you fit. if you are nice , kind, considerate to others feelings and not cruel to people, then you will fit in everywhere. people will respect you more then trying to be popular . in the long run, honey , when you graduate some day, if you do, none of that stuff is gonna matter. its so immature.

Good question. I don't quite know but i think that if you are friends with the popular ppl then that probably makes you popular to. So yea. Look at it this way are the popular ppl's other friends popular? If they are then that makes you popular too. But that doesn't really matter. In God's sight we are all popular.

Not usually, but you will find that popularity is only important to those not planning to do something with their lives after they graduate.

Yes, if you yourself are consistently pleasant.

The proof is if you keep getting invited to the parties thrown by popular people.
