I hear Republicans say that it's the KEY to the war on terror?
shouldn't... oh I don't know... a place that HAS A LONG HISTORY OF ISLAMIC TERRORIST ACTIONS... be the key grounds in the war on terror?
is they why we seem to be having trouble in the war on terror... we go to places that have few terrorist links to fight it?
why do republicans refuse to go on the offensive and take the war to the terrorists?
I've never seen so many people talk about Osama, yet do nothing to find him and do almost everything in their power to focus on something that has little to do with terror...
I find it odd... just me... I would think we would go after the terrorists in the war on terror?

David C: I would say... they have a darn near unlimited supply of footsoldiers... young poor kids that have nothing better to do... but, if we take out the leadership, which clearly is not "coming to us", then you chop off the head of the beast, without having to fight the million different arms of the beast...

I think this was a good point before the War in Iraq. However, now that we are there, it is the front on the War with Terrorism. The terrorists are going there to fight the US.

How about a question instead of just a rant? How can I answer when you didn't ask anything?
As a heart felt Democrat, I must apologize to the other posters for idiots that post questions that are really rants.
I want to have discussions with Republicans and Libertarians, not just point fingers.
I wish there could be some intelligent discussion of political issues on Yahoo Answers.

Don't try to make sence of it its Bush only wants the oil and the power hold on to that thought and you will be able to understand the why for it all

Seems to be ! They're always finding Syrians, Saudi's, Lebanese, etc. dead after a skirmish over there. Seems they're migrating there to fight us. My step-son even killed a Yemeni there !! Why go to them, when they're coming to us??
