What would you do if this happened to you (it happened 2 me):

I didn't sleep well, I woke up early, I’m having a bad hair day, I’m totally bloated, I’m PMSing and I have cramps. As soon as I woke up early I had to go to co-op (classes for home schooled kids), and I had a really bad day. I'm unpopular there. I totally embarrassed myself in swing dance, I got told off for not having all my homework done, and I’ve got loads more. Afterwards I had to go to my dad's work and sit for three boring hours reading.

Then I come home, and am forced to help unload stuff from the truck. afterwards while I’m on the phone, my mother tells me that I have to watch a stupid effing school movie. I’m not even supposed to watch it today. I told her I don't want to, so now I’m grounded for the rest of the week, I still have to watch it, and she made me get off the phone. We were supposed to watch cartoons tonight, but we can’t.

I'm close to tears because of my day. What would you do if you were me?

Sometimes it happens to me too, that nothing seems to go right with my day. What you can do is to try to pause and relax. Solve your problems or little irritations one at a time.

Problems with cramps and PMS? No problem, take an Advil.

Unpopular in class? Well who isn't anyway? Don't stress yourself out just because you're not popular with the crowd. Most of them are so messed up anyway.

Embarrassed yourself in swing dance? Laugh it off the next time. You should learn how to laugh at yourself from time to time. It's healthy for you and your ego to know that you are not perfect.

Problems at home because things got crummy that one day? Kiss your mom the following day when you see her and you'll know things aren't as bad as they seem. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Sorry you are having a crumy day. My suggestion to you is to relax and focus on one thing at a time. Dont worry about messing up dancing every one messes up. in a couple of years it will be the next dance move used by millions. just remember that life is full of good days and bad days, the secret is to roll with the punches and remember the good days.

Sorry I couldn't hear you over the tiny violin. If you think that was a bad day, wait until you get out of school and your parents' house and face reality.

just go ahead and try to go to bed and think that this day is behind you and tomorrow is a whole new day that you can do whatever you want with. and smile, that'll turn your whole attitude around!!! :-)

Take your lumps and do what your parents tell you. You sound more like a brat.
