Well.....you have a right to be angry about what happened. You should have let your boyfriend speak up for himself if he had a problem with his work. Listen I don't think the boss will fire you or him. I think that if you are both great workers, he would want to lose either of you. You should apoligize to him. Talk to him and tell him that you were angered because of the amount of work load your finace was getting. Also tell him that it was none of your business butted in like you did. Make sure you get it through to him that your finace is a great worker and that you assumed that he felt the same way you did. Tell him that your finace can handle the work load and that he is very thankful for working with his company. If he does end up firing one of you.......it is important that you two stay together. Your finace should understand your feelings but you should also understand that if your finace has a problem he can deal with it himself unless he told you otherwise. If one of you gets fired, you can help the other find a job. Just make sure you say your apologies to both men. Your boss for butted in and your finace for the same reason. I get that you just wanted to help and that you felt sorry for him, but you have to imagine yourself in his shoes. Would you have liked your finace to have complained to your boss about the amount of work you have that might cost you your job. That is all the help I can give you and I hope for the best.

If you think that you have caused problems there, maybe you should consider leaving your job. You need to tell your fiance what happened so he can be prepared to deal with it.

That is one of the reasons why you should not be involved in a workplace relationship. Let your fiance fend for himself. It's his problem, not yours.

well, its a lesson learned, doesn't it. Always remember not to make judgement while you are upset. Be level headed. Cheers!
