I've always had this problem, is their some way i can speed up my mac internet? I know i have at least 312kbs on my wireless internet, but my mac (which is directly plugged into the wireless router) is so slow, it took me 10 seconds to load this page! Do i have some kind of the firewall or somthing that i didn't turn off?

I know that MAC 0S X 10.4 has a built in firewall that you can get to under the apple menu>system preferences>network>firewall. You could disable it, but that shouldn't be the problem. Try setting your IP address manually. It will ask for the router address. This is the same number you would use for DNS server. Good Luck!

By the way, that spam guy didn't read the part about you owning a mac, did he??? LOL.
