This is really hard to explain with words... print this picture from kidzone http://www.kidzone.ws/magic/walkthrough.gif and fold it in half along the center line (the "hot dog" way.) Cut along the lines, and then cut the center line where the fold is. The trick is you have to leave the paper in one piece - don't cut through all the way from end to end. When you're done, open it up carefully so that it doesn't rip. When you get good at this, you can do it with really small pieces of paper!

I would cut it in a spiral, like pealing an apple. If you cut the strip thin enough (1/8") you will get a long thin piece that you can walk through in a circle.

You can also cut a spiral out of paper and cut within the spiral, but don't cut the ends, you'll have a hole big enough for you to walk through.

Start cutting inside the edge on one side and cut into thin strips all the way across without ever cutting through the edge. When you open it up it is a very large hole.

I cannot find the info on their website but PBS's kids show Zoom just did it on their show not too long ago. If you can't find it on their site their may be a way to find a contact address for them.
