I zone out at meetings at work sometimes. Once some co-workers had to nudge me because my supervisor had said something to me. And I said oh sorry I wasn't listening.

Actually, when I am speaking with someone who is aggressively boring, I imagine them as a dog with floppy ears in a Marilyn Monroe dress, smoking a cigar. I imagine their words are just barks. It usually makes me smile.

i do sometimes when my hubby talks but he always catches me...lol..he always asked a question...I cant lie he's a cop he'd see right thru it..so i fess up and say I totally did not hear anything u just said...lol....then he has to repeat it...ugh..lol
