I hear GINGER SNAPS work real well. Also, there are some prenatal vitamins that can reduce it. What a nice sister!

Depends on the pregnancy but here are things I know that work for some women, morning sickness is a trial & error thing what works for one does not always work for others.
1. Seabands, they're a band you wear on your wrist that have a little button that presses on a pressure point to relieve naseau.
2. Ginger root tea - buy some fresh ginger root and slice a piece between a dime size & nickel off and slice finely. Pour boiling water over, steep a few minutes and enjoy. Candied ginger sometimes works as well or if she can stand it, eating the fresh ginger.
3. Saltines and soda water - never worked for me but others swear by it.
4. High protein diet - protein sticks with you longer, which reduces the odds that "omg just looking at that makes me...*retch*"

Tell them to drink plenty of water (eight 8-ounce glasses) every day to keep them hydrated. Dehydration makes the problem worse. Also, if they feel sick in the mornings, tell them to get out of bed slowly. Maybe even keep some crackers by the bed to nibble on before getting up.
If that doesn't work, the good news is that most morning sickness goes away by the 2nd trimester.

Nutritional yeast (not cooking yeast!) is sold in health food stores. It tastes great on popcorn or mixed in with warm veggies. Morning sickness is caused by a deficiency in Vitamin B12. A B12 shot from your OBGyn is also effective, but the yeast costs about 1/10th as much, is just as effective and you can't overdose on it so you can use it however feels best to you.
Ask your doctor and s/he will confirm this information.
