Why do girls like tall or buffed guys?>

I have never been into overly buff guys. I don't mind a little muscle tone, however, I don't want a guy who spends too much time working out.
However, I do prefer tall men. I am very short - 4'8" - and was never attracted to shorter men. My husband is 6'3", and most of the men I dated before I met him where around that height.
I can't tell you for sure why that is, but for me, I was looking for someone who is all thing things I am not. In addition to being tall, my husband is good at math and spelling.
