I put bay leaves on all drawers, use a mixture of vinegar and water on countertops and even floors. Spray it on and wipe it dry. ( it works in my kitchen and doesn't hurt my pets)

You can buy ant traps. Open up windows for ventilation, get pets out and spray surfaces with Raid Ant Killer. Wipe surfaces off after a few minutes. It work!

If you can find out where they are coming in from outside, buy some "corn meal" and sprinkle a line of it around the outside of your home, they eat it and swell up and die because they need water. Don't get "antsy", try it, this is an old home remedy that really works, they wont come back either.

try to keep food off of the floor and clean up more...i had the same problem and it works...try ant farm killer thingys too.
