It's been awhile since I had a learner's permit, but I'm pretty sure you should get that taken care of asap. It definitely has to be correct before the road test.

Wait for the road test cuz its not really that much of a big deal and u wouldnt want to take the time to go all the way there and back and then take the road test.... its kinda retarded

no big deal just wait till the road test everybody's signature sucks so its probably not even noticeable especially if it took your cousin a whole month to realize his OWN name was spelled wrong.

I know it sucks to have to go to the DMV, so I would suggest just calling their hot line. It's probably not a problem because I don't think the officer would have a problem matching the permit with the record on file.

Very simple. Go to the testing facility or court house, tell them what is wrong, and ask them what you should do. I would do it long before the road test. Pops

well my advice is that he or his parents should address this problem to the dept. of motor vehicles right away for you see they already have his name on file so when takes his road test and passes they will issue him a license with the incorrect spelling of his first name

Go to the test place now, if you wait longer, then he might be regidtered for a lot of things and his name will be wrong, so...

I'd get it fixed before applying for the permanant card. It could cause problems if she gets pulled over for anything.
