Go outside and catch another cricket. put it in a container or something and cover it (with something like a piece of paper so the other one can hear it). They will start calling to each other, and the other one might come out. Then you can smash the little sucker.

Would You Consider "Bombing" Your House ? To get Rid of "Jimminy Cricket" Regular Bug Spray won't Work. Especially if You want to keep all of His Friends and Relatives Out ! Can You Leave Your House for about 5 Hours ? Okay, go to any Supermarket, and get a Box of Raid Fumigator Fumigating Fogger. A Small Blue Metal Can is Enclosed in a slightly larger clear plastic sealed Container. Peel back the Foil Cover, Remove the Blue Metal Can, and add about 2 Tablespoons of Water Inside the Clear Plastic Container. Then, put the Blue Container back into the Clear Plastic Container. It will Immediately Emit a Pungent Strong Insecticide Smoke, and will make a Loud Hissing Noise. Make sure all Your Windows are Shut, and don't leave any Food out. Then, Leave Your House for about 5 Hours. When You come Home, Open up Your Doors and Windows, and set up some Fans. It'll take about 30 Minutes to "Air-Out". This is a lot of Hassle, but it really Works ! And it costs less than $20. This is much better than any Spray Can. If You've got a Lot of Money to Spend, then Contact http://www.amazing1.com and find out what type of Electronic Insect Repellent is Available. Everything they have Works, but count on Spending at least $100. Hope this helps !

I was wondering where he went, he drove me nuts for a few days last week, I was moving furniture and tearing cabinets and closets apart. And then he was gone.

I think he died. Wish I could help, but I never found him and the noise just stopped.
