I think it is wonderful if a 14 year old wants to go trick or treating for Halloween. I don't however think it is wonderful for 14 year olds to go trick or treating with little to no costume. I see way too much of that. I realize most of these kids are just embarrassed and are worried what others will think if they are in full costume. But, most that I've seen out and about on Halloween are usually up to no good. If you are a parent of a 14 year old that wants to go trick or treating and they honestly want to trick or treat then I would go with them to make sure they don't get in to any trouble. The police get quite busy around Halloween catching Vandals.

not really. make sure you have a costume though. they don't mind giving a 14 year old candy. however, if you don't dress up, most people don't see you trick or treating because of the 'halloween spirit', just the candy.

No, it's not too old, and better than a lot of other things you could be doing. Get dressed up, go trick or treating with your friends, and enjoy the last few years of your childhood.

No way...You're never too old to get dressed up, and eat candy. If you are in the NYC area, the Village Parade is a must for any Halloween fanatic.

Yes try helping with the passing out of candy. You'll get just as much fun passing out candy to the smaller children. When you see their faces it will be worth it. If you feel like you will miss out on the candy...tell your mom or dad to buy some of you favorite and keep those back for yourself.

No. Forty-four is too old for Halloween. Just have fun. I had plenty of teenagers and adults come over my house for treats.
