The Packers don't suck they are just having a bad couple of games. You'll see a whole new team on sunday against Detroit as they will win 38-14. Favre will get offensive player of the week awards for his performance. I'm a Packer fan!

Unfortunately, the Packers have not been a good team the last 3 to 4 years. Back in 1998 and 1997, Brett Favre along with star revievers and a decent defense made it to the superbowl 2 years in a row. Now, most of those other players have retired or moved on, leaving Favre with an unexperienced team, and almost no offensive line. Though many may doubt Favres throwing ability, he could have a better chance if he got more time in the pocket, therefore less aggressive with his passes, thus less interceptions. Also, the Packer's defense is weak at the line and weaker at the corners. So, no the Packers are not close to being the best team in the league, or even that good right now.

There is no reason for them to be so bad, they just are. But all the people here say it's a rebuilding year, that the team is too young and needs time to be good. I say they need to get rid of an eldery quaterback who will remain nameless...That they have always sucked is a comment from a moron, you can't ask a question like this, Football fans are nasty and hate all teams that are not theirs. So can you get a real answer here..No. Their team is too young and their quaterback is too OLD and thier coach is new this year SO this year they will not be that great of a team. But, My team is not so hot this year themselves. Those with crappy teams should not throw stones..

The Packers have great potential, they just don't have a coach who will be able to lead them to too many victories this year. hopefully Favre will learn he needs to start coaching this team to a win every so often. He is one of the smartest quarterbacks in the game.

i am a big packer fan,but the problem is three things.
1.offensive line,we suck at blocking for favre.
2. WR core,it is weak.
3.defense,nothing to say here we suck at defense.
i am still a packer fan though.

this year....... they got A.J. hawk the unstopable linebacker from OSU, they should be pwning. but their offense is like the detroit lions, they suck
