I Specifically need data on the dates between the Friday after thanksgiving to New years day, for the past ten years 1995 - 2005.
any direction would help?

this type of information is called teradata. typically it is not released to the public. possibly a research agency may have access to small amounts of this information but i think the best kind of info you will get is a total amount of sales during the period. also, a different approach is to look up the stock quotes. stock prices are dependant upon a merchants sales, and the holiday season is always the highest for stocks so maybe you can find the correlation?

you get that information from a market research firm. They will charge a fee but have real numbers.
