if your not sexually active should you still schedule regular pap smears ?

As I was in that situation, I was told by my gyno and many others that 21 is the age when they require even women who are not sexually active to start getting pelvic exams.

YES! i was 8 yrs old and started my period. and by the time i was 12 was told i would never have children do to endometriosus. And was still a virgin when i meet my husband I have two wonderful girls.But with out the tests in my life would have had alot more problems then i did have.You may not be acctive but that dont mean you dont have problems.And you may be in good health.but dont take chances with your life.

Yes, you can still develop things like polyps without being sexually active. Also, they do a breast exam to check for signs of breast cancer which you can get regardless of your sexual history. Every woman should go yearly from the age of 18 - earlier if you are having sex.

yes, although you are not sexually active it is still good to see a gyno because you can get a yeast infection and/or a bacterial infection. You can also have your gyno check for any lumps in your breast so yeah it would be beneficial to you.

YES! even if you are not sexually active that doesn't mean you have no problems. Annual checkups are important to find out about infections, cancer, and other things not linked to sex.

yes always, cancer or other problems can form even if ur not active.
