You should include yourself when you say that everything has a purpose. It sounds like you are depressed right now and you should go see a Doc if you feel you are a danger to anyone especially yourself. I have been there and I am really sorry that you feel bad right now. If you ever think nobody cares you are flat wrong as you will see by some of the responses you get. I think there are a great number of people who care. You might also try talking to a friend or family member you can trust and share your feelings.
I don't know if this applies to you but it definitely applies to me and a ton of other people. When you lose your direction in life it makes you feel depressed. People have a need to accomplish things. But it's not like you have to conquer the world. For me, I exercise or clean house or something small like that. It's good to keep your mind occupied with small things like that so you don't develop a pattern of negative thinking. Anyway, don't be afraid or ashamed to ask for help. I've done it and I don't feel defective because I got help. As a matter of fact, I am a much stronger person now than I was before. God Bless.

Be assured, friend, that the mere fact that you are asking for help is an important step in the right direction. It might help you to know that we are all walking car wrecks, usually propped up by some silly delusions of grandeur. I suggest you have just hit a place in your life where you have looked at things with too powerful a microscope. In this case, it is normal to be confused and disconcerted.
As someone suggested, it would be an excellent move to first see a medical doctor for a checkup. Tell him how you feel and make sure that you are in decent shape. After that, ask him to suggest either a psychiatrist or psychologist who might be able to help you. There is no shame in asking for help.
Lastly, do not be dissuaded by the way that you feel now. There are people who can help you. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find a therapist you can talk to. That can be hard when you are already feeling down, but please keep at it. We live in difficult times and there is no shame in falling apart every so often. It can be terrifying, but oftentimes it is a safety valve for us. Sometimes it takes help to reset.
If you feel suicidal, please call a local hot line immediately. They are there because they care and they can help.

I know what that feels like to have no purpose in this world. You may not be an important person to the world but i am almost certain that you are important to someone, and that means that you do have a purpose. I went through a horrible depression last year and i felt like there was no reason for me to be alive. I thought that there was no one who really cared if i lived or died. Then one day i looked around and saw that my family would be devestated without me here with them. I live for them, and they live for me. I was so wraped up in my problems that i didnt see how much i am loved. I wouldnt miss a moment of my life now and i know that if you look at your life, really look at it, you will see that you're loved and cared for. That may not sound like much, but trust me its the most important thing in the world. Get out in the world, meet people, live your life as if ever day you get is a gift. Do what you've always wanted to do. If you get out and do things to occupy your mind, you'll feel better. Dont focus on what has gone wrong in your life, focus on the good things that you can do in your future.

Not a professional here but you sound as if you may be depressed. Extremely stressed? If I were you I would go to your physician and get a physical exam to see if you are ok and not having some kind of reaction to a medication or food, etc. Then I would ask your physician to possibly refer you to a psychologist, either that or if he believes that you are depressed to prescribe an antidepressant and see if that helps. IF you are old enough.
Are you going through something lately?

you, my friend, is in that stage of perplexed duality... knowing reality but lost in its translation. having a purpose, but searching for a reason. down, but not out. fighting to survive but feeling a loser. cheer up... listen to this words:
"Life, is not at all that bad my friend
If you believe in yourself
if you believe there's someone
who walks thru life with you
you'll never be alone
just learn to reach out and open your heart...."
this is a song that is so inspirational... to continue...
'when you feel the world is tumbling down on you
and you have no one
that you can hold on to
just face the rising sun
and you'll see hope
and there's no need to run..."
listen to the lyrics, absorb it's meaning, realize it's reasons. search from inside you. the beauty of life is from within, let it grow.... the essence of being one with the world in any way is the essence of being.
use these lyrics as the key for survival... and you will. why? because i believe in you...

If everything has its purpose, then you are found. Your negativity is incomplete. What you have to do is know THE purpose in life is to HAVE purpose in life. Everything we do starts from the negative because we are sensitive to NEED. The positive is utility. Be positive, GET positive, identify negative.

All you need is to find purpose in your life. But it's not up to me to tell you, that's for you and only you who need to decide.
