this one is easy. they are insecure. their self confidence is so low that they need the ultimate self esteem lift. and that is knowing that they can seduce a man into a night or two of passion with them, and knowing that man is risking his whole life as he knows it just to be with her.

Both women and men cheat often. Now it is less socially unacceptable for women to cheat and now women have more access to ready, willing and able partners due to advances in their careers (women meet men at work). But remember, it takes two to cheat - so there usually is a man involved, assuming heterosexuality.
Another theory that I have is that men haven't kept pace with the changes in the dynamic of relationships between men and women. Because of the greater opportunities afforded women due to the aforementioned economic opportunities as well as the social opportunities, women are less apt to put up with an unpleasant marriage. Men in many ways are still lumbering along as was the case in prior generations. What is needed is a men's revolution as there was a women's revolution to counter balance the changes that women have undergone. In the end, a men's revolution will be good not only for men but also for women and families, especially children, because families are still the best way to raise children. But I am going off on a tangent a little bit. The bottom line is that people cheat because they feel that happiness is derived from something outside of themselves - but this is not true. Happiness comes from within...

Truly I am not sure, they like to break up a marriage. They need to feel important and wanted and they figure if they mess up a marriage that, that person feels just as crummy, unwanted, and as insecure as they feel after there done doing what they did. When in-fact an affair is usually just a mutual attraction or infatuation! The innocent one in the marriage is the one that has the true connection and in the end is the one so severely hurt that they cant usually take back a cheating spouse! They break the trust bond forever! And the person that the cheating spouse cheated with becomes hurt and obsolete because the cheating spouse rejects them and sometimes starts to hate them! They are usually so wrapped up in trying to make there innocent spouse take them back and forgive them that, the other person is nothing. All the way around it hurts everyone, no one wins! Trust is broken, hatred is born, and many problems arise! Any person out there that is so selfish to break up a marriage and to try to make someone that is married cheat with them, is NOT a good person and is NOT worthy of respect or love, because in the beginning the didn't respect the ring worn on the finger that says that they belong to someone else to whom they vowed to give there heart and there love! Someone that breaks that up is worthless in my book!

Well there are several reasons why a woman would cheat with a married man:
- the hunt/chase of an unabtainable man
- fear or incapability of true intamicy or commitment
- infactuation with the married man, which she will go to any length to fullfill her curiosity.
- all of the previous reasons already given
Also, I believe most men and women that do cheat, do it because they are unhappy in their current relationships and feel that something new will be different. Also a good ole' case of boredom can be a real commitment breaker.

I for one is not that type of woman. They seek the excitement that it brings into their life. They like the fact that they can try to get the man to leave his wife for her. What they do not know and are very ignorant about is that if he does decide to leave his wife for her the outcome will probably be that he will cheat on her as well. They are homewreckers and they are second best.

most women to sneak/cheat with married men is probably cuz they're looking for a sugar daddy, or just not looking for a relatoinship, only the actions.

Some women do this because they find what they are looking for in that man, like closeness, SEX without feeling obligated to deal with them when they get all angry, unfotunatley I fell in love with one but I knew I was not going to get anything out of it, and this may sound rude but I enjoyed every minute of it. I found in him everthing I wanted and more. I just found him too late. Besides he pursuaded me first. I just couldn't resist.

Ive noticed in women that date married men its the wanting to be better then another woman, the fact that she could take a man from a "marriage" .. and usually they want the dream that the wife already had, a husband , and family..but what she rarely thinks about is that if he's capable of doing that to his wife he's capable of doing that to her.. and usually does eventually.. or doesnt choose her over the wife.. which breaks her wanting to feel that she's gods gift and can have any man of her choice...

IT GIVES THEM A POWER TRIP TO SEDUCE A MARRIED MAN. THEY CAN THEN ELEVATE THEIR EGOS BY GETTING BACK AT THE WOMEN THEY FEEL INFERIOR TO. ALSO, THEY CAN BOOST THEIR EGO BY THINKING THEY ARE SO SPECIAL THEY CAN GET A MAN TO RISK HIS LIFE TO BE WITH HER. THESE WOMEN HAVE LOW SELF ESTEEM AND WERE PROBABLY ABUSED OR MISTREATED IN THE PAST. IT IS ALSO A GREAT WAY TO AVOID EMOTIONAL INTIMACY. THEY ARE ATTRACTED TO MEN WHO ARE NOT EMOTIONALLY AVAILABLE TO THEM, AND IT IS A CHALLENGE TO TRY TO CHANGE THAT.....

They expect to get fullfillment from these kinds of relationships to fill there empty, lost, lonely soul.
All to find out that when that is all done and over with.... they are still, empty, lost, lonely, and now depressed even more.
So when you really think about it.... it's kinda stupid isn't it?!
