I think Fernando Alonso, simply because Ferrari will experience a decline in performance and car design once all the pro-Schumacher staff leaves along with him.
Button, in a Honda, World Champion?... Not sure.

There are also some other candidates, like Heikki Kovalainen. Having a car like the Renault might make him a contender.

Sorry, did you forget to mention Felipe Massa? Just kidding, Kimi IS a better driver than Felipe, but I think the little Brazilian will keep the Finn very honest indeed. The team orders (legal or not) will be: "Let the guy with the bigger salary win". Having said that, if Kimi has trouble adjusting to the red car and Felipe has an absolute blinder of a start, we might be looking at Felipe getting the favouritism from the boys from Maranello.
Alonso, with his aggressive steering, may have some adjustments to make with the silver car....and get used to smelling burning oil. Everyone seems to talk about McLaren and their reliability (or lack of it)....but if people are supposed to learn from their mistakes, isn't it about time McLaren get it right? It could be a lucky year for Ron and Co.
Jenson Button? Jenson who? He's nobody in my book.

If I were betting I'd say Raikonen. The recent success Ferrari is having now should carry on to next season. The Mclaren is a who knows type question, they will either design a car that works well in Alonso's hands or it will make a car thats quick but has a lot of reliability problems like they are currently having. Buttton on the other hand , there is nothing special about him, it all comes down to the hype from the british press. In needing a British racing star.

I think the race will be more between Alonso and Kimi - just like last year but this time Alonso will drive the car that breaks often. Still, I hope McLaren fix their problems enough so that the world championship is more interesting.
I also think (and hope) that Kimi will win it.
As for Button - his team is getting better but will it be better enough to fight for the championship? - I doubt that but I hope I am wrong.

That crash ruined his hazard at winning the F1 Championship to make it a three peat purely like Schmaucher crashed out of the Championship on the best comparable race, despite if on a various course. And specific, I do locate it ironic that now it extremely is Alonso who has crashed out of the championship as that replaced into the entire clarification why he won final 12 months interior the 1st place. i discover it impossible for him to win the championship even by mathematically he nevertheless has a raffle. Hamilton will seal his Championship this weekend in Shanghai and become the 1st rookie to win the formula One Championship.

To be honest, with all of the personell changes going on it's a difficult one to call.I think Red Bull will be contenders next season with a Newey designed car, Ferrari or Renault engines and Mark Webber. But I'd say he'll come somewhere between third and sixth in the Driver's Title.

McLaren are fast, but unless they can sort out the reliabilty, they just be also-rans again. I think there are too many changes going on at Ferrari for them to be competetive in the first half of the season, but they'll come in strong the second half.

Renault will be strong, but as usual only in the first half of the season. I think Honda stand a good chance if they sort out the lack of speed and reliabilty, but as they have no major personell changes to deal with, they could surprise a few people.

My tip? Raikkonen and Ferrari

Neither of the three I think it will be Massa. I think he is showing more maturity and his driving style is much better than Alonso and button. But I think there will be great battle between him and Kimi.
