Apparently the executive producer Mitchell Huritz doesn't want to continue the project, even if a network wants to pick it up.

I was -- still am -- a big fan of "Arrested Development" since the very beginning.

But I'm actually glad that they've stopped at 53 episodes.

It's a uniquely American trait to extend TV series beyond their natural life span. A lot of the Brithsh shows that are regarded as classics made even fewer eppys than "Arrested Development."

I'd rather treasure the episodes we've got than see the show start to get repetitive or boring.

Not just mad but pissed, because people would rather watch something lame and predictable like Two and a Half Men or mind-numbing reality shows, than a well-written intelligent comedy.

My boyfriend loves the show. Did you know it comes on everyday. It's on G4 on Directv at 2pm and 11:30pm.
