will an sti 6 speed tranny fit on an 02 wrx ?

i have an 02 wrx 5 speed and im not sure if an sti tranny will meet up

it will fit physically,but with the electronic center diff you will need major electrical work done to be able to use it.just beef up your wrx trans with better gears.It is much cheaper and holds up well.

It's been done before.
It's more trouble than it's worth though. Since it's larger than the stock transmission, you'll need all new driveshafts too.
