I personnaly think that if any have come here, they really do it by temporal rather than spatial displacement -- so as much I have loved Star Trek, I do not really think that interaction between 3rd-dimensional planets is really allowed in our Universe.. whoever has come here (if at all) is from another dimension, then cleverly hid their tracks by means of letting behind clues of physical/3rd dimensional evidence which however is illusory and therefore misleading
