Did some one remove the pan? drained out all the fluid? Start with four quarts push in the dip stick with the engine running. Add as necessary. If the transmission was installed dry it might take up to nine quarts to get between the lines on the dip stick. Yes between the lines not the full mark is just fine.

I don't have the manual, but I know that fluid levels vary from one vehicle to another. Your best bet would be to call a transmission shop and ask. In case you're too lazy to do that; Try using your dipstick (the one under the hood that goes to the transmission) and add a pint at a time until it's full. NEVER! overfill one.

if you drained it ,it will hold 5 quarts to fill it back up,,but if your just adding fluid ,you only need to fill it until it touches the full line on it,,and do it while the engine and transmission are hot,and the engine idling in park don't over fill it,,it will cause more damage to it than good,,and it will cause it to blow out seals in it,just be-care full and take your time and you will get it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
