PEMDAS is a way to memorize the order of oprations. P is perentcis, E is exponents, M is multiplication, D is division, A is addition, S is subtraction. So in a problom like (9-5)(7+6)(8+3x4) you would do the probloms in the perentces first (4)(13) and (8+3x4) would be 8x3=24, 24+4=28. So (4)(13)(28)=1456
