I am only 25 yet I have the hands of a 60 yr old. They are bigger than they should be. Im very bony and petite yet I have masculine hands. I bite my nails horribly. The worst partsif they always feel stiff. Lotions only seem temporary and my skin seems to soak it up then dry right out. I dont have arthritis but I feel like I do. Anyone have any secrets to make me hands not only feel younger but look it too?

You probably 'abuse' your hands by not taking proper care of them. First and foremost, stretch your hands to the fullest as in doing stretching exercises of your arms, Remember to flex and rotate your wrists so that your joints will be loosen. To help your hands to be supple and more mobile, melt a block of paraffin wax in a small pot at 40 degrees Celsius (any higher temperature will scald you), enough for you to emerse your hands. Leave them in the pot for 5 minutes. Remove the wax from your hands and apply shea butter with few drops of jojoba oil added to it (it's a very good moisturiser). Do this treatment day and night till you see improvement. Then reduce the treatment to once a week for maintainance. The moisturiser can be used daily to help keep them supple.

If your hands are old looking you must be doing some strenous work. Purchase some age defying lotion from AVON. Then purchase some Sally Hansen Nail Biting Polish. Start sleep with socks on your hands with the lotion on your hands. Treat you hands like you do your feet. Or do your feet look the same way? To start off go to a pedicure and manicure salon to do a wax peel on your hands. If your hands feel like they have arthritis, purchase some icy hot rub on hands and still wear the socks to bed. Do this every nite till you see the change in the feeling of your hands

Make sure you are eating a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of water. You could have a vitamin deficiency or some kind of nutritional imbalance. You could also be chronically dehydrated which means you are accustomed to being dehydrated and need to start drinking more fluids. Low vitamin C can cause skin problems. So can a lot of other vitamin deficiencies.
