I don't have daughters but I do remember being 13! These scary movies are great. Just enough fright for excitement. Have your sleepover on a night when it's rainy and there's thunder & lightning.
Check out "Goonies" (1985) with Cory Feldman & Josh Brolin --It's a Spielberg!--it's an action adventure with a group of preteens and teens
Also-- any of the old "Dracula" movies with Bela Lagosi or Christopher Lee
"Beetle Juice" with Michael Keaton, Geena Davis
and Wynona Ryder
" Night of the Living Dead" the original black & white 1968
version
old" Frankenstein" movies
old or recent "The Mummy" Movies
"The Blob" old or recent
All the "Jaws" movies
"Back to the Future" 1, 2 and 3
"Ghostbusters" 1, 2 and 3
This next group of movies aren't scary but they are great chic flicks.
" Parent Trap" with Haley Mills 1961 or the newer version
Miss Congeniality 1 and 2 with Sandra Bullick
"The Lizzie McGuire Movie" 2003
" A Cinderrella Story "with Hillary duff
"Casper Meets Wendy" 1998 with Hillary Duff
" A Hard day's Night" and "Help" with the Beatles
"Grease" with John Trovalta & Olivia Newton John
"The Princess Diaries"
"Father of the Bride" old and recent ones
Hope you have a great sleepover!

How about both Pirates of the Caribbean?? The next day you could go to the movies to watch the 3rd one (if it's still there!)
if not, you could watch fun movies like High School Musical, Honey and She's the Man!
i know because i'm 13 too and in my party that's what we did and it was fun to the MAX!!

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It's a really good movie, it has comedy & drama. My best friend and I are well over 13 and we both love it.
