Definitely go see her O.B. Dr. Sounds like she is having some major hormonal problems.

It sounds as though something is going on with her thyroid, and she should go see her doctor right away. the thyroid is the gland in your neck and regulates some of our hormones and if something goes wrong we can gain or loose weight, our hair falls out, we can't sleep, hot flashes or cold all the time, and it can effect our heart as well. She really needs to go to the doctors right away.

She needs to see a doctor now. Being a diabetic, she should be seeing her doctor every few months!

She should definitely see the doctor and the sooner the better. Her diabetes could cause a lot of secondary conditions.

I'm losing my hair and have gone through menopause....(i haven't had a period in 2 yrs.) and i'm also borderline diabetic so i bet that is what your friend is going through...........menopause...there is a test (bloodwork) that can tell you if you are pre-menopausal or post-menopausal.........she needs to go to her doctor and get some tests done......that should give her all her answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Delayed period and loss of hair are some of the symtoms of birth control. She should see her doctor just in case.
