Because every species need each other. Nature did not make not one species that was not needed. The first species you would get rid of would have as much in common with your heritage which began billins of years ago as your parents when you think og it. It's very likely all life originated from one small accidental birth of bacteria.
The killing off of one species always lead to the death of another and another until one day we are looking into the pool of life and find we errored, and it's too late.
As long as we live on earth we will need all species.

Because we need other species to survive. We cannot digest cellulose, but we need it. It's only found in plants. Animals eat the plants, and we eat the animals. Other chains like this are why we need other species.

That is a great way to wipe us out as well. The problemwith us humans is that we think we should live over the Earth instead of alongside of it. Its a huge ego trip.
