He's a news commentator. I have heard some good facts from his show, but he limits stuff to what he wants to comment on, covering just some of the news, ignoring other stuff. That's what a commentator does. I like him better than O'Rielly & much better than Hannity & Colmes. I get some info from O'Rielly but Hannity & Colmes just spend the whole hour arguing! Glenn Beck is the best of these three shows.

If we are talking with the Glenn Beck who is on KLIF in Dallas (or was), I use to work with him, he was going off the air just as I was talking the shift to jock the Satellite feeds. He is intelligent, gifted, tries hard, is well read, and has only gotten one thing wrong that I know of. He's not bad. News source? I don't know. I consider him a conservative commentator. Nice guy though.

hahhaa... no... no opinion show is good for news... be it Rush, Hannity, Beck, the Daily Show, Colbert or anyone else... opinion is usually shaded and only gives one side... that's why it's called opinion...

now every now and then you will hear about something you're unfamiliar with on these shows... but you should go look it up for yourself before making up your mind... often, they seem to tell half truths for entertainment purposes...

they assume most people understand that it's opinion and entertainment and shouldn't be used as a news source... sadly, many do not understand this

Nope, (but as a left wing extremist..olol :) Okay so I dont quite make the grade, but I am trying) I find this rightie tightie quite a delight to listen to and sometimes nicely informed, unlike his lying spin flinging GW Bush butt licking buddies Hannity and O rile em up!

I do not accept the premise of your question.
Glenn Beck in NOT a source for news. He is a commentator and has a radio program.
It is his job to comment upon the news of the day....

YOU SICK TWISTED FREAK !!!!!***
(***if you listen to his show, you know he uses this phrase to refer to his listeners.....kinda like "Dittos" or "You're a great American")

He is not so much about news as about analysis of the news. He is honest in his opinions and what he has learned about particular topics. CNN hired him to compete with Bill O'Reilly.

He has a decidedly conservative viewpoint and, like O'Reilly, does not tolerate BSing. I respect the guy.

Yes, I think he has a lot of common sense and talks about interesting news, that you won't hear from other sources.

I think he TRULY Believes in what he says. I've seen several of the Articles he's used as references on his show lately and I consider them serious News agencies. Although they are not main stream media.

He is OK, but he annoys me at the same time. Plus I refuse to watch the liberal white hating CNN network.
