She still has her claws, and really is not the kind of cat that likes to get picked up or held, however she dose like to be rubbed and petted.

The easiest way to get your cat into a cat carrier is to grab her by the "scruff" of the neck (the loose skin on the back area that the vet holds when they give cats their exams) and lower her into the carrier -- stand it upright so you can just lower her into it. Close the door, turn it the right side up, and leave her alone for a little while. She will probably be upset at first, but this is the easiest way to get her in there without hurting her, or getting clawed yourself.

Is she the kind that it nutty over catnip? I suggest leaving the carrier on the floor open for the remaining time before you move, and put catnip in it. Maybe a small blanket of fluffy towel to curl up on, and maybe toss a few treats in the back. That way maybe she will have a chance to get acquainted with it and have an incentive to check it out, and it may not be *as* hard to get her into it the day you move her.

Cats are easily tricked....... :-) You can rub and or pet her right in front of the carrier open door, then quickly shove her into the carrier shutting the door right behind her......

She will forget all about it after you arrive, when she is let out of the carrier in a completely new territory.......
Hope this works for you this is how I trick my cats into the carrier for their trips to the vet.....

You can try by using Amsoil. This is something that oil change and garage places don't want you to know and you know why. There is actually a motor oil that last up to 35,000 miles / 1 year. If you don't drive that much they have have 25,000 miles / 1 year or 7,500 miles / 6 months guarantee with a seal on each bottle to prove it and full document on each product. Also there is a filter that guarantee 100,000 miles / 4 years cleanable air filter and a oil filter that is a made of nano fiber that guarantee 25,000 miles / 1 year. This company spends more money on research and development instead of mass advertisements and sponsorships. More info goto http://www.geocities.com/lamsoild

Put something in the carrier like food or her favorite toy. Or catnip. Use bait!
