I know I should be calling the ER and I will but I just need some women who have experienced these symptoms....
I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I have a scheduled ceserean *on monday the 25th* because I had a prior one. Though tonight I've been having some contractions, not a whole lot to get all excited about but I REALLY hurt around my pelvic area, and when I get up it hurts to barely walk. When I do get contractions I usually get up and walk, but it still kinda hurts down there. I havn't lost my mucous plug or my water hasn't broke but I'm scared. My hubby is at work and I'm scared. Please help... NO RUDE COMMENTS PLEASE

I called the "labor and delivery" and talked to 2 nurses and they said since my contractions aren't too bad that I could probably wait... UGH I was hoping for her to say HURRY UP COME IN.. so I'm going to time my contractions and if my pelvic area hurts more and more when I get up then I guess I'll go...

go to the ER NOW!! You may be in labor. Stay calm and call the doctor. Having had 4 c-sections with the last one trying to come out before I could get to the hospital, I am telling you not to dilly dally around. get moving.

Be Calm Honey! We're here! What it sounds like too me, is your cervix is dialating. Your water and mucous plug really don't even have to come out. Well, I mean they do eventually, but it is not needed to be in labor. Try timing these contractions. If they get really painfull, start coming at regular intervals, or if you start to spot, call your DR. right away. And when in doubt call her too. But I think that you will be ok. Stay at home right now and relax. That is the main thing. RELAX. Soon you will be in a noisy hospital with people everywhere and then at home with a newborn. Relish a little solitude. Or call a friend over to sit with you. Or e-mail me, we'll talk. Good Luck.

At least call and talk to the doctor. You are safe for now as long as you haven't lost the mucus plus or water, but you should call so they can at least be on alert. Also they might want to hook you up to the machines to check the consistancy of your contraction. They can stop the contractions if they are bad, or just deliver :)

Get yourself off to the hospital as soon as you can. Being 39 weeks pregnant it is a good chance your contractions are for real and if they are not they might want to schedule you in for an earlier ceaser especially if there are medical reasons for you having one.Everyone experiences contractions differently some people only get mild backache everybody is different.

I would call the doctor and ask them, I know that labor is different for all women, maybe you are going into labor, I know with my last child, I had pains like period cramps..and a constant feeling of having to pee because the baby's head was so low, I went to the hos[ital with barely any time to spare..I was there 2 hours before he was born..whew.

WAs normal delivery never a possibility after a previous cesarian? It could happen.
The 25th is a very near date, and to top it, you are getting pains because you are scared, ALONE and pregnant.
Please call your doctor and describe what you are feeling. Your doctor is the best person to tell you what to do. Get to the phone and dial your doc quick!
Most of all, relax and pray.
I wish you a safe delivery. Good Luck

good luck and god bless!!! Keep a close watch on how you feel and if the pain becomes too intense and the contractions are timed and predictable, make the necessary phone calls and get ready. go ahead and give your husband a heads up that nature may take its course before the scheduled c-section!!!

The pain you are describing sounds like braxton hicks and the baby's head is pushing on your perineum, which can hurt REALLY bad,,,lol I know! It really doesn't sound like you are in labour yet, but you could be soon. If the contractions get more regular and they don't stop, go to the ER.
Best wishes
