Is it normal to weigh more while on your period?
I weigh more from before I started and It usually always happens while I'm on my period... then when after I'm off of it I go back down in weight.. is this normal?

Because of the hormonal changes there is a certain amount of fluid retention immediately prior to and during a period. For every litre of extra fluid retained you have an apparent weight gain of 1 kilogram (2.2 lb)

The reason that you are weighing morto start with is that you body produces a certain amount of blood and other natural waters to keep you hydrated as well as healthy all at one time. The thing that stinks is that it takes days to let loose so you gain and the weight gets on you r nerves get use to it especially if you have been on less that a year it will get better

Yeah. Some women "retain water" when they're on their period.

That just means that your body is holding in more water everywhere than normal, rather than peeing it out.

yes,,, i hate this!!!! i gain like 5 to 10lbs around the time of my period.. u bloat out from the excess blood and water weight

of course is it because woman seem to retain a lot of water weight it is very normal try midol or pamprin.

yes because its like water weight or somethin. not really sure how that goes, but its because you may be bloated and stuff like that.
