Another question noted that opium growing is up by 50% in afghanistan over last year and even Bush is saying it is being used to fund terrorists. Also voilence is at an all time high in Iraq. Then the republicans on this place very rudely requested that he/she not post facts like this as if these facts where made up.

Yes, some taliban war lords had it grown by the local farmers. The year after we invaded Afghanistan the amoung increased as local farmers needed the money from that crop. The amounts planted every year have either leveled off or grown as the UN has been unable to secure any region and introduce legal crops farmers could live on.

The number of people Saddam has killed just seems to keep on growing, without any bodies and many of the deaths causes by Irans armies seem to be confused badly by people who yell "the saddams has killed hundreds of thousands". To date the number of confirmed dead from non-military conflicts is still far less than 100,000. It is bad enough for me. The rest is possibly fake statistics that can't be confirmed.

have you noticed that the "liberal media" doesn't talk about Iraq much... and when they do... it's always at the end of the program in passing for just a second...
my... I would think if they were truly liberal... they would harp on the failures and talk about them constantly.... odd?
and I bet it's hardly mentioned at all on Fox news... which is all they watch... so it's no surprise that they don't know what's going on...

Republicans have always been the authors of much confusion. Whenever they are in office there is either a depression or a war. The Republicans have always been for big business while the Democrats have always been for the working class and the underpriveledged. What is sad are that there are so many working class people that vote to cut their own throats because their bosses tell them that if they don't vote Republican they won't have a job later.
The Republicans believe in the old "Divide & Conquor" method of spreading evil rumors about Democrats, while Democrats almost always speak the plain truth.
This was the only reason that Ronald (I don't recall) Reagan won the election against Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter told the plain truth just as it was, about the state of our economy, while Reagan painted a rosy picture of an economy that was as much of a fantasy as the lie he spread about there not being such a thing as AIDS & HIV.
The Republicans blindly follow where their unelected Prezzy leads them to.

Your comment about the opium is true. Afghanistan has always produced opium. Violence in Iraq is very high, but maybe not an all time high. OK, those 2 facts are true, but you have neglected to say some of the good things that are happening in Afghanistan and Iraq. See, you have told a half truth, but not the entire truth. That's because republicans are brainwashed by the propaganda machine that is Bush. He proclaimed mission accomplished May 1st 2003. Number of troops lost in Iraq as of May 1, 2003-355. Number of troops lost to date in Iraq 2692 and counting by an average of 3 per day. So, since we won in Iraq, 2,337 troops have died. What kind of idiot would believe that? You're right the righties with the horseblinders on.
