I am totally disagreed with you. You can see that sex is higher in west as compared to African or Asia but that peoples do sex with gays and lesbians and ultimately there will be no increase in population while do this with same gender. How ever in Asia and Africa they do sex with the natural way and the result shows the increase of populations

You guys still have the ideas about Africa and Asia from the movies!!!
In some African and Asian countries there is more night life than you have, we have shops, cafes, malls, bars and night clubs, some of these entertainment outlets are open 24 hours a day. In fact I have a Dutch friend that came to visit and found it very strange that so many cars and people are out in the street until 2.00am!
Don't have cables!!! people from small villages and some Bedouins in the mountains have cables these days!!!

Umm, population increase doesn't mean that they're having more sex.
Yes, population growth is higher in developing countries, and less in developed countries.
Governments are NOT promoting more children. Heck, in China, they have a one child policy. "The vast majority of developing countries with high birth rates now have official slow-growth policies. " http://www.prb.org/Template.cfm?Section=PRB&template=/ContentManagement/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=8115
A major reason for their high population growth isn't that they're having more sex. It's that in most cases, these people are living in poverty. Which means they are not educated to and have no means of purchasing birth control. "The use of contraception varies widely, from 19 percent of couples in sub-Saharan African countries using a method to 68 percent in developed countries."
It has nothing to do with how often they have sex.
"Nations with high fertility rates have extremely low contraceptive rates. In 2001, about four percent of married women aged 15-49 used contraceptives in Chad, which has a TFR of 6.3 births per woman. In contrast, about 91 percent of married women aged 15-49 used contraceptives in Italy, which has a TFR of only 1.3." http://www.prcdc.org/summaries/worldpopupdate02/worldpopupdate02.html
Do a little research. Your reasoning isn't quite right.

I think this question breeds ignorance. Developing nation's goals don't include overpopulating the world. Westerners are very adamant about stopping developing nations from reproduction and I think our focus should be on helping them find ways to sustain the lives of the children that will be born regardless of outsider's opinions.

it is all dependent on Education, Work culture and how lonely do you feel ?
Developed countries too have a lot of sex, but many of them have advanced medical understanding and hence they go in for abortions or control measures
whereas, in developing countries, lack of proper education, proximity and lack of understanding of sex, and poor medical conditions augment sex and population

Three reasons :
1. Illiteracy
2. Other means of entertainment out of their reach.
3. Poor people think - more children, more earning hands (illiterates forget that another child will also be coming with a stomach)

because this is a major source of entertainment which you can get free of cost and you get it in your house itself. This gives you some kind of satisfaction that you are able to do something or to achieve something.
Whereas in developed countries they people have many sources of entertainment and also know and use the measures for protection of pregnancy. They also know and can pay for the medical termination of pregnancy. They are so busy that many times they do not find time for the sex.Sometimes they lose the desire to have sex due to high level of tensions in their life.

it is unprotected sex, for poor that is the only recreation for them.no job always at home. sex with your wife does not need money. in other countries no time. always at work place. both husband & wife are having very good & responsible jobs. heavy pay packets. no time to look after the kids. so, they avoid having them.they have other means of entertainment & recreation.

Simpler life. In developed countries, people are preoccupied with other stuff - buying things, watching TV, going to work...etc. In Africa, if you have no TV, no electricity, no money, now work, what else are you going to do - screw. Plus here you can get pills, shots, condoms....in poor countries you don't have that, you just have to hope you don't get knocked up.
