ok so when its someone's birthday in my school people make tee shirts and wear them that say happy birthday whoever.. well tomorrow is my friend krunal's birthday and i already made him a cake for tomorrow... then on aim he asked me to wear a shirt then went away, but tomorrow i have to play for band at the hoffman football game so i was gonna wear my hoffman shirt... and i want to wear the hoffman shirt and not a birthday shirt... i already have been wear alot of b-days shirts for ppl and decieded to cut back... and he is a really good friend of mine... and if i want to wear a shirt for him that mean i have to take the shirt i use for b-days and bleech it and wash it... so what should i tell him cause i really really don't want to wear a shirt...

why not do both? Wear the birthday shirt for part of the day and the Hoffman shirt for the other part?

You're stressing too much girl...But...I would wear your friends b-day shirt, and then wear the other one at the football game. I'm sure he doesnt expect you to wear it all day. He'll remember the cake more than the shirt because you will be the only one that did it. He's not going to remember everyone who wore the shirt!! GO HOFFMAN!!! Happy Birthday Krunal!!

stand up and be strong. say NO, it is your birthday you wear it. I have a hard time saying NO to my friends, so I understand what you are saying. Maybe if you told him, that you have to play for band he would understand. or just wear it half the day. Wear the birthday shirt in the morning, and the band shirt in the afternoon. so then no one is hurt or feeling left out... I take he will also be wearing a birthday t shirt??? From what I understood, people make them and give them out, if this is so, he will have one to wear also.... But it is his day, let him wear the birthday shirt . oh what help am I. first i say go half a day then i say let him wear it......

tell him no and tell go sans the hoffman shirt as well. I'm saying go topless. That will rock a lot more than any silly birthday shirt will. You will be wearing a top of the line birthday suit!

You could wear the b-day shirt for half the day and the other t-shirt for the other half. This might be better than having a friend perceive you as being unfair when it comes to not wearing a shirt for him but doing so for others.

I would tell him about the band thing and that you really want to wear the shirt for that. If he is a true friend he will understand. Honestly, I think a cake is better than wearing a shirt. :-)

Just make a new b-day shirt with his name on it - wear it the first half of the day then switch over to your band shirt. It will really hurt his feelings if you don't - put yourself in his shoes. Would you want him to wear a b-day shirt for you?
