I had taken my truck to autovalue and they ran the test because my check engine light was on and the only thing that came up was the 2 sensers were bad.

Aslo I was told that it might be my sparkplugs and wires.Their were sparks coming from 2 of the wires.AND...could it possably be the idle control senser?
(thats what my neighbor thought)

Mine runs terrible if I reset the computer (ie: unplugging the battery) and will continue to run bad and die at stoplights for a week solid. Ok if that not be the case I would pull codes again but my money would lye somewhere around the I.A.C valve or the mass air flow sensor.

We had a 90 F-150 that did the same crap. We replaced everything, over time, and it never really ran proper.
My employer owned one also, same thing.
I advise trading it in on a non-Ford.

98 F150 wants to die? Let it.

I'm sure you thought of this, but.... turn up your idle speed. Any mechanic can do it for you or you can do it yourself.
