Saving Private Ryan.It had the best most detailed battles...they sucked you in basically.I loved the cinematography and camera work, and I also think it has the best sound and sound effects of any movie ive ever seen.It also has a very interesting plot, which is based off of a real story in WWII.I loved it,especially with a Home Theater that supports DTS sound...it is awesome.

Vertigo (1958). It's an incredible artistic masterpiece, richly textured and arranged with remarkable precision, and it is Alfred Hitchcock's most profound (it is a complex examination of romantic pathology) and personal work (it is used to show Hitchcock's obession with transforming actresses to fit his parts). The film deals with themes of love, death, guilt, obsession and insanity, and it features highly inventive and creative camera angles, surreal and dream-like cinematography, vibrant San Francisco scenery, a hauntingly-beautiful and unconventional musical score from the legendary composer Bernard Herrmann, and a frightening, career-best performance from the terrific actor James Stewart.

too many! I like a variety of movies usually for the same reasons: character, story, cinematography, dialogue, ect...
*Citizen Kane - a revolutionary classic!
*Memento - Intriguing way to tell a story backwards
*Lord of the Rings - made me glad to go back to the movies
*The Old Star Wars Trilogy - good fun action filled with mythological references
*Deadman - quirky western with Johnny Depp
*All Quiet on the Western Front - great anti-war movie
Anyway, too many

the Notebook, it is a story of romance filled with plot twists and turns and drama. It is also sad and emotional. It revolves around a poor ambitious boy and a rich outgoing girl. I feel like I have a relation to this character.
