Oh dear dear dear...I remember when we complained when it went above a buck!!! it used to take me less than a ten-spot to fill up my car...okay, she was a Fiesta and had a 10 gal tank but still I remember when gas was 50-80 cents a gallon (I feel so old!! I also remember when my parents had the filling station that gas wasa quarter a gallon in the 60's)! I have watched gas prices sky rocket and although America should have long before now been working on renewable fuels, I put the fault right where it belongs...on the gas companies and their tools in Washington..300% profits my furry behind!!!!!!

It was..it was here..I just got gas 5 hours ago in Columbus, Ohio for $1.99 a gallon..yesterday, my brother said it was 2.05 and today I saw it at 2 stations for 1.99.. two blocks away in a more traveled off the highway exit, it was 2.09 so I lucked our...

It was nice to see...please keep dropping (but it will go up soon I bet)--to the poster above..the lowest I remember being aware of it was in the mid 60's 39 cents a gallon at the certified station by my house...those were the days.

That depends with the war going on in Iraq who knows if it'll go down. And gas companies take inventory too, if the start to run out the make the prices high.

One reality in life is big business is greedy extream. If crude went down to 50 cents per gallon, it's highly doubtful that they would lower gas prices. Come summer even at that price they would still raise it to $2.50 to $3.00 per gallon with some laim excuse! If you feel they really give a hoot about you, think again!

Well, they are going down at an incredibly fast rate. Some cities have already gone down past two dollars (1.99). So it's definitely a possibility.
