and i need a program that i can watch tv, record tv, play my xbox and record what ever is on my xbox, what program does all this stuff, and it also has to be free

yea a disc came in the box, but the program is really bad, the audio doesn't fit in with the video and it records with no sound, well none of the programs i use record with no sound, all i want is a goood program so i can make a halo2 videos in ok resolution

Is this a brand new retail boxed? If it is the programs are there bundled up already.
If you picked up the card 2nd hand from off a private individual or junk dealer off places like eBay and they gave no CD or just a CD containing driver, there is one more step to do:
1. get driver, the definitive place to get it is in ATI's website.
2. this is the final step; get an output program that does watch and record stuff, get a program for free called STOIK Video Capturer, this is a small program that connects what you see as a user to whatever underneath in Windows that provides those facilities, www.download.com any other program that does this and provides more cost money.
There are connectors at the back of the card, I assume you know how to connect them.
