Read Exodus, it will give a more insight of who Moses was. Also the part on the burning bush is in Exdous 3. Moses was born an Israelite, who's mother wanted to save him from Pharaoh who wanted to kill all Israelite babies. So out of much love for her baby she put him in a basket to save his life. He was found by Pharaoh's daughter who had compassion on him and knew he was an Israelite. His sister happened to be watching and told Pharaoh's daughter she could find a woman to nurse him. When he was older his mother took him back to Pharaoh's daughter where she took him as her own child. He had an excellent education in Pharaoh's court and the dispcipline of the desert living prepared Moses to lead Israel through the wilderness. Exdous shows how God took an unorganized group of slaves ad welded them together as a therocratic nation. ie., a nation ruled by God. I hope this helps.

Moses stands as one of the most favored prophets of the Lord and was instrumental in leading the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage.

See Exodus 3:2.

Consider reading for yourself the first five books of Moses found in the Holy Bible.

Moses and the burning bush Exodus chapter 3
Moses was the one who was chosen by God to lead His people into the promised land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Moses was also the one who was so close to God, God let Him see Him from behind only while God passed by him.

Moses was an idiot who thought he talked to god, and wondered through the desert for forty years following a cloud to the "promise land". That's who Moses was. In all the time he wondered through the desert he only took the people twelve miles from where they started. This is true. Either Moses was lying about the "promise land" or he was insane. The people that followed him were f_cking retarded. No offense to those who believe the "lord" is real.

Maybe you should actually read the bible for yourself. Most people just want to be told what it says and wouldn't know the difference between Genesis and Judges without their pastor telling them.
