I'm going to be in a play at a local town theatre. I have to pick out my own outfit. In the play I have a twin and we are Desert Explorers. Please don't tell me to wear any of the following:
Spaghetti Straps
Shorts
Khaki Pants
If you have any ideas on what I should wear, I would greatly appreciate it if you would tell me!

Someone hiking in the desert would wear light colored clothes (yes, Khaki). A wide brimmed hat. Long pants (to protect yourself from rocks and cacti). Hiking boots. Probably a long-sleeved shirt but lightweight to protect from sunburn, layered over a tee-shirt or tank top in case you find a bit of shade to cool off in. And sunglasses. People who spend a lot of time in deserts know that it is better to be shielded from the sun as much as possible.

loose lightweight clothing that covers and protects you from the sun but allows air movement. Also either a hat or visor and sunglasses to protect the eyes.

Somethign you could wear would be hiking boots, something typical a nomad would wear
