ive been talking to her, and im thinking about asking her to homecoming. but she told me she is going to this other schools homecoming, on a different day. is it still safe to ask her, or should i assume she has a boyfriend?

It is always hard to tell if someone likes you because some people give you that vibe and some people actually do. ask her to homecoming, if she has a boyfriend, she'll let you know then. if she says yes, you can go from there. This is a safe thing to do because you can always go with a friend. taking this approach would mean that there is no pressure cuz it's not really a date.

Well it never hurts to ask her. Besides, may she is going to this other schools homecoming because she has a friend or a relative that goes there.

Don't assume that she had a boyfriend. But it wouldn't hurt to ask a few more questions. Oh, so how do you know this guy from Ridgemont high? Then you'll find out if he just asked her because he needed a date or whether they're serious. You could even ask her, oh, so Joe is taking you to the Ridgemont dance? Are you taking him to our dance? She says no, then you could say, well would you like to go with me?

I dont think its safe to ask her, did you ask and then she told you she was going somewhere, or did she just tell you out of no where. If she told you without you asking, then go right a head and ask maybe. She trying to let you kno that she's free.
