Gm, Dodge, Ford have some of the most ugly cars on the road today. There are very few of the Big 3 that are cool and sporty. But come on, I cannot believe people buy these things? And they drive around in them wanting to be noticed. "COME ON","It has a Hemi so you can get it home and hide it faster, before your friends tell you its a STATION WAGON!"

Please, like any forigen car is good looking. Scion XA and XB ugly. Honda element, ugly, Honda Ridgeline? Ugly, anything toyota, ugly. The list goes on...

I absolutely agree with your comments (forgot the question). You called it correctly -- the hemi station wagon. Next they'll raise the roof and call it a hemi mini van. --And ugly, I mean ug ga lee, can be said for a multitude of new cars coming on to the market. I think the responsible ones at the auto show must have been on crack cocaine or something of that nature to choose these cars for production machines. Some of these cars are less appealing than the Bush administration. Ahrrrg, get a grip!

Really, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like certain cars and car styles than other companies, its a matter of personal taste and statement. I don't think auto makers are purposely trying to make their cars look ugly, but its not a unreasonable claim. Most car makers are under a mother company, such as GM, Daimler Chrysler, Ford, etc., and it would not be uncommon for one auto maker to have their brand of cars look unappealing, so that you would be cars from their other brands. But really, they are just trying to appeal to everyone's tastes out there.

No the Scion Tb is the awful looking car of all time. Toyota has had a string of ugly hits. Echo has small wheels. Tacoma truck base model voted ugliest grill work. Sequoia pick up's bed with wrap around tail lights looks bad. Thing is homely looking cars have a following. Honda's Box and Toyota's Scion xb box. Volkswagen Beetle for example. It is so ugly it's cute!!! NOT! It is just ugly!!! but hey I own a GTO made in Australia not the ugly...

It's so true!! Every newspaper is like "Foreign cars are gaining sales because they are sporty, and FUEL EFFICIENT" and what do the American companies come out with? The H3 and some other hideous monstrosities. It's really kinda sad.

No they are not trying to make ugly cars they are trying to make cars for the future, for the youth of America wich will be the future car buyers.

That is your view not everyone else views it that way. I bet you are young like me, it is the older people who are really like these cars. If people but them, they will make them.
