I don't know - I have never awakened in the morning and asked myself that. I would imagine that it isn't the nicest thought to wake up with...maybe a nice cup of tea and an English muffin would be a better start to the day.

I truly hope you are asking this question as a general question and not your own personal train of thought. If the latter is your response to that statement, please seek some therapy. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to chat, even though I don't know how much of a help I am. But to answer your original question, asking yourself what life is worth is a completely normal function. We've all done it at one point or another. I believe it's actually healthy to question your life and you values because only questioning and exploring can help you grow more.

NO! It does not hurt but blasting yourself is a sucker way out of being straight up in life. Plus you will not make it to heaven if inflict your own death. Ask god for help he comes in many forms. A kid a nieghbor even a pet . The best way to deal with problem is to have somthing or someone to pour them on

i feel like it doesn't hurt to ask yourself questions like this, most all of us do. we could have more money than we know what to do with, or be poorer than dirt, have a great relationship with others or be as alone as a hermit, have had a career with a wonderful company or was the low person on the totum pole,
what i mean is life hurts, it has it's ups and downs, you got to take the bad with the good, because you know somewhere,
someone, loves you. and life is worth living, just give it a chance.

what amuses me is that intelligent, sensitive, caring people get depressed about world affairs, etc--all the psychopathy, injustice, etc. and often this question pops up because it gets them so down. on the other hand, the greedy, obese psychopaths wake up cheery, wondering only : who can i f**k over today so that i can get richer and more powerful. it's all so simple when you think only about yourself at all times. and your only agenda is to become rich and famous by any and all means possible--"winning" at any cost. please stay alive and help to rid the world of the psychopath scum, is my advice. ;-)

No, it doesn't hurt. Does that help you to feel better about living?
Are you making the best use of your human intelligence? Perhaps if you were you wouldn't be so depressed.

Yes it hurts. Some days are more difficult than others. But it is a feeling that usually passes. It may well be worth seeking medical help if these feelings persist. I wanted to kill myself in 1991 when my mum died, but now I am so glad I didn`t. Please please ask God to help you. He always answers that prayer...

Are you thinking this or is this just a question for others to respond to?
