Change doctors. If you're constantly bleeding, I have no idea why your doctor would tell you to take baby aspirin because aspirin actually makes bleeding worse. What you need is birth control pills. Honestly, find a female gynecologist and you'll get the right treatment.

One. Stop taking aspirin - it's a blood thinner.
Two. Don't douche - NOBODY needs to do that unless it's a medically prescribed one.
Three. Get another doctor! I would not EVEN go back to that incompetent.
You need to probably take off the patch and use another, non hormonal based, birth control until this is straightened out.
There are three possible routes the doctor should take. One, is a progesterone tablet which is taken, as ordered, until the bleeding stops. Another is a cervical biopsy to help diagnose the root of the problem. And the third, is a D&C. to scrape away the current endometrial lining, and hopefully return you to normal periods.
Get another doctor. If you haven't been going to a Gynecologist - get to one. If you have, you have to find another one. Ask friends who they go to. Contact the local chapter of the American Medical Association and ask for a referral. You know what you're going through isn't normal. You have to keep pushing until you have an answer.
Good luck, honey.

Talk to your doctor again and if he does not listen to you get a new doctor. Don't let this go on any longer especially if you are bleeding heavily you could become anemic but, seriously there's no need to let a this bleeding stop you from having sex with your husband! Just throw down a towel and jump in the shower after. If your husband has some sort of 'issue' with female periods, then he's a fool you've got to teach him otherwise. It's not disgusting to have period sex.

>edit. sometimes your bodies natural hormones change and a method of hormonal birth control you've been on for years doesn't work as well for your body anymore.

You need to find another doctor. He shouldn't be telling you just to douche and take aspirin.

I would stop taking the patches also, ask to switch. There are other options like nuvaring, the depo shot, implants, etc. Patches aren't for everyone, and you might need something different. No one should have to suffer with their period that often. How can we live our lives, you know?

Talk to your doctor again. This could be a side effect of the patch. You may need to see if there is another brand or try other options.

asprin, even baby asprin is a blood thinner so why your dr said to take it is unreasonable ! find a different dr because it sounds like the patches are too strong a dose of medication for you. if not a different patch then definatly a different dr !!

You should consider switching Birth control. Obviously this one is not working how it should for you.

maybe you should switch to a birth control medication that is not continually flooding your body with artificial hormones?
