They have a very good chance, and I'm not sure it'd be such an upset. The Niners' offense is coming around, and Norv Turner could work wonders with Alex Smith. Turner's been a fine offensive coordinator wherever he's been; it's been as a coach that he's sucked.
Plus, the Eagles will be reeling from their choke job against the Giants, and they'll be without Jevon Kearse for the rest of the season. Add to that Brian Westbrook is banged up (*sigh* AGAIN) and that they're on a long cross-country trip, and it starts to become difficult to understand why they'd be favored in the first place.

The Niners have an above-average offense. the eagles, due to injuries, have an above-average defense. The eagles have an elite offense. The Niners have a below average defense. Eagles all the way here.

Absolutely!!

Alex Smith is playing well this year. Antonio Bryant is looking like the weapon he was supposed to be, Frank Gore may be the biggest surprise in the NFL this year. And to top it off, Vernon Davis may be as good as he thinks he is.

They're going up against a defense that is on the ropes and just lost it's best player.

It'll be tough, but it's possible.

Die hard EAGLES fan.... not much of a chance, but after last weeks disgrace/embarrassment anything is possible. Kearse being done for season isn't going to help either.

Eagles just got blasted for losing to the Giants after that huge lead, they are going to be fighting for every point and against every oponents point, it will not happen this week.

sure they have a chance. but unlucky for them that Philly choked last week and are unlikely to do it again. SF at home can keep it close.
