I like the originall Broadway cast better. I love love love Daphne Rubin-Vega and I know she was really upset that she couldn't be in the movie - and so were all her fans. She is the TRUE movie. Unlike most of the other characters, who - in the workshop version of the show - started by being played by other actors, Mimi was the original Mimi from the start. The movie just isn't the same without her. I also miss the people in smaller roles. Kristen Lee Kelly played Mark's mom in the stage version and she's brilliant. Aiko Nakasone played Alexi Darling and she was ten times better than Sarah Silverman.

i saw it when it came to atlanta at the Fox thetre and it was amazing i had never understood what it was about till i went with a friend who explained and i love it so much espically the music
