I need to remember the formulas for ammonium, acetate, chlorate, chlorite, cyanide, bicarbonate, hydroxide, hypochlorite, nitrate, nitrite, carbonate, chromate, peroxide, sulfate, sulfite, and phosphate.
Any ideas?

To clarify, I need to know the FORMULAS (I need to remember that ammonium is NH4+, for example).

remeber the prefixes and suffixes

ch=theres chlorine in it
bi=2
carbon=thers carbon
hy=hydrogen
nit=nitrogen
-oxide=oxygen and hydrogen i think
sulf= means thers sulfur

jot it down above your wrist and wear a long sleeve shirt when taking an exam write it very small or print it in a very small font and tape it to your arm works every time
