Stan 'the man' Musial

It's Stan "The Man" Musial. He is by far the icon of the St. Louis Cardinals. Mark McGwire hit some memorable homeruns but his legacy with St. Louis doesn't compare to Musial.

Stan "The Man" Musial... hands down... c'mon he's THE MAN. He is easily one of the greatest players to ever play the game, and underappreciated everywhere outside of St. Louis.

Second place? Bob Gibson... now there was one BAAAAAAAD man!

Third? Ozzie Smith... I hated the guy, but he was amazing to watch with a glove!

My vote would go to Stan "The Man" Musial. He played 22 years, had 3,630 hits, 475 home runs, 1,951 RBI, a career average of .331, 7 National League batting titles, 3 time MVP.

Tim McCarver.

He popped out to Bill Freehan for the last out of the 1968 world series!
