Yes, there is an added ingredient which will make a person have the runs...and in rare instances kill them if they have a severe allergic reaction to it...best not to take the chance.

saline drops would not accomplish it. saline is just salt water. now, EYEDROPS with tetrahydrozaline could, if you could cause someone to ingest enough, make someone ill.

In an Agatha Christie book (THE CROOKED HOUSE) this also happened.
